Chelsea is delighted to confirm that an agreement has been reached with RC Strasbourg for the permanent transfer of talented Argentine midfielder Valentin Barco. The 21-year-old will join the Blues in June 2026 at the start of the summer transfer window.
Valentin Barco, who has impressed during his time at Strasbourg (a fellow BlueCo club), brings dynamism, technical quality, and versatility to Chelsea’s midfield. The move sees Chelsea successfully secure the highly rated young talent ahead of interest from other top European clubs, including Bayern Munich.
