Chelsea Defender Selected for France 2026 World Cup Squad

 Malo Gusto has become the first Chelsea player officially confirmed for the 2026 World Cup, following his inclusion in France’s 26-man roster.


The 23-year-old full-back has established himself as a key member of Didier Deschamps' setup, boasting 47 club appearances this season and nine caps for his country. Gusto's selection follows a strong qualifying campaign, where he helped secure top spot in France's group.


Joining him in the squad is former Blues midfielder N'Golo Kante, currently with Fenerbahçe, who returns to the national team stage for the tournament.
