Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos has been excluded from manager Carlo Ancelotti’s final 2026 Brazil squad for the World Cup. The surprising omission comes despite the 21-year-old being named to the preliminary 55-man shortlist earlier in the year.
"The official Brazilian national team roster for the 2026 World Cup has been announced, with Chelsea's Andrey Santos among those not making the final cut. Santos, who was on the preliminary shortlist following a strong domestic campaign, will not travel with the squad.
