Chelsea head coach Xabi Alonso has expressed his gratitude to the club’s supporters for their continued backing, both at Stamford Bridge and on the road.
The Spanish manager particularly acknowledged the fans who travelled to Anfield on Wednesday to support the Blues during their Carabao Cup clash against Liverpool.
Alonso praised the supporters for standing behind the team despite a demanding week, emphasising how much their commitment means to the players and coaching staff.
He also thanked every fan who made the journey to Liverpool, recognising the important role they play in supporting Chelsea through challenging moments.
The message comes ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League meeting with Manchester United, as Alonso and his players look to return to winning ways.
