Chelsea Interim Manager is relishing the opportunity to take charge of Chelsea game on Monday at Stamford Bridge

After making the step up from the Academy to assist the first team since January, interim head coach Calum McFarlane is prepared for a massive Premier League showdown this Monday. McFarlane will lead the Blues against a strong Nottingham Forest side in a game that holds immense importance for both teams, albeit for very different positions in the table.

"I’m really looking forward to it," Calum stated ahead of the match. "We’ve got a really tough game as Nottingham Forest are a really good side. We’ll be well prepared for it, but it will be a great honour to lead a game at Stamford Bridge".

Having previously supported from the backroom, Calum acknowledges the unique feeling of leading the team from the dugout. "Obviously, I've been involved in games at Stamford Bridge as part of the backroom staff. It might have a different feel leading the team, but it will be a great honour in front of the Chelsea fans and we’ll be looking for a similar level of performance as we did at Wembley".

Key Focus: Following a positive result at Wembley, Chelsea aims to maintain momentum in the final month of the campaign.

Team News: The squad has received a boost, with fitness levels improving ahead of the Monday afternoon clash.
