Chelsea and England midfielder Morgan Rogers has thrown his support behind Harry Kane in the Ballon d’Or debate, insisting the Bayern Munich striker deserves the prestigious individual award.

When asked who he believes should win the Ballon d’Or, Rogers was clear in his choice: Harry Kane.

Rogers pointed to Kane’s outstanding achievements, highlighting his trophy success, goalscoring consistency and ability to deliver in major matches.

“He did the treble, and hat-tricks in finals, goals in the World Cup, goals for Bayern. What more can he do? That has to be rewarded,” Rogers said.

Kane’s continued goalscoring form for Bayern Munich, combined with his performances on the international stage, has strengthened his case among those who believe he should be recognised as the world’s best player.

Rogers’ comments add another voice to an increasingly competitive Ballon d’Or conversation, with several elite players expected to be in contention.

For Rogers, however, Kane’s combination of trophies, decisive performances and goals makes the answer straightforward.
