Morgan Rogers was on target as England produced a stunning 7–0 victory over Croatia in Rijeka, handing the hosts their heaviest defeat in history.
The Three Lions delivered a dominant performance from the opening whistle, controlling the game and exposing the gap between the two sides despite Croatia entering the match ranked 13th in the world.
Rogers, who had started England’s previous victory over Czechia, began this match on the bench after former Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel made five changes to his starting lineup. The forward was introduced later in the contest and completed the emphatic scoreline with England’s seventh goal.
The result also placed England alongside Germany for the biggest winning margin recorded in the UEFA Nations League since the competition began in 2018. Germany previously achieved the same 7–0 scoreline against Bosnia and Herzegovina in November 2024.
For Croatia, the defeat was a night to forget, while England continued their impressive campaign with one of their most convincing victories in recent international football.
