Portsmouth secured a 2-0 victory over Chelsea at Cobham this afternoon, handing the Blues a disappointing result on home soil.
Chelsea struggled to find their rhythm throughout the contest, while Portsmouth took advantage of their opportunities to claim a deserved two-goal win.
The defeat will give Chelsea plenty to reflect on as they look to respond positively in their upcoming fixtures. Portsmouth, meanwhile, can take confidence from an impressive performance away from home.
The result adds another talking point around Chelsea's form and squad depth, particularly with the club continuing to develop its young players at Cobham.
