Chelsea supporters could be in for a special reunion next March, with former Blues midfielder Oscar set to return to Stamford Bridge for the club’s Legends meeting with Tottenham Hotspur.
Chelsea Legends will face Spurs Legends at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, March 27, 2027, in a special charity fixture being held during Easter weekend. The game will raise funds for the Chelsea Foundation while also supporting Spurs in the Community.
Oscar is expected to be among the familiar faces making a return to the Bridge, giving Chelsea fans the chance to see the Brazilian midfielder back at the stadium where he made his mark between 2012 and 2017.
The 35-year-old made more than 200 appearances for Chelsea during his time in west London and was part of the squad that lifted major honours, including the Europa League, League Cup and Premier League title. His final competitive appearance for the club came against Tottenham in November 2016.
His potential appearance would add another nostalgic element to an already highly anticipated occasion. Chelsea have confirmed John Terry as the first player officially announced for the match, with further legends expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
For supporters, the fixture promises to be more than just a friendly. It will bring back memories of some of Chelsea’s most celebrated players while reigniting one of English football’s fiercest London rivalries.
And if Oscar does step onto the Stamford Bridge pitch once again, it will be a particularly special moment for the Chelsea faithful. 💙
Oscar back at the Bridge. Stamford Bridge ready for another legendary reunion. 🤩
